Can anyone be a part of the Artist Directory, or is it exclusively for students of Luxury Lettering 101?
The Artist Directory is for anyone! You can absolutely join even if you are not one of our students.
There are certain privileges that come with being an LL 101 students; ie. students of Luxury Lettering 101 may be featured more often in blog posts, and will have the “Luxury Lettering certified” distinction.
I FILLED OUT THE FORM TO BE ON THE DIRECTORY A FEW MONTHS AGO AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING, WHAT’S THE STATUS?
We’ve been working with a designer to make our platform more robust and functional than it was when we first launched, so there was a delay in getting everyone up on the website! But now, we have uploaded everyone and sent out instructions on how to claim your profile. Check your email and you should it! If not, you can view it here.
Will I be able to edit my own profile, upload a profile photo, etc?
Yes! When you navigate to the Artist Directory, you will see a “Join Directory/Login” option right above the map. Click on this, and you will be able to edit your profile at any time.
Troubleshooting FAQ’s
When I click on “Join Directory/Login” and the popup comes up, I don’t see an option to log in. what should i do?
This is a common glitch that seems to be happening and we’re not sure why, but the solution is to clear your history/cache and reload the page. You should see the “Login” option appear after you’ve done that!
When I TRY TO UPLOAD MY PHOTO IT TAKES FOREVER, WHAT CAN I DO?
If an image is too large, it will take a super long time to upload or not upload at all. We recommend using an image that is no more than 900px by 900px and smaller than 500kb.
When I TRY TO CLAIM MY PROFILE, I RECEIVER AN ERROR CODE WITH A BUNCH OF NUMBERS WHEN I ENTER MY EMAIL. WHAT CAN I DO?
This means that for some reason your email is not already in the system. All you have to do is create a new profile by clicking on "Join Directory/Login”, then you can add in all your info right away.
